Ingredients For The Meatloaf:
- 2 lbs ground beef 80% (900 grams)
- 2 large whole eggs
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1.2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 garlic cloves smashed
- 4 tablespoons cilantro or parsley
- 1 small red onion chopped finely
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup almond milk or milk
- 1 ½ tsp salt or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1.2 teaspoon sage
Ingredients for The Meatloaf Sauce:
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 3 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions How To Make Meat Loaf:
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Add all the ingredients for the meatloaf in a large bowl.
- Mix with your hands to combine or use a spatula.
- Once the meat mixture is combined, add it to the loaf pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes.
- In the meantime, add the sauce ingredients into a medium-size bowl and mix together until homogenized.
- After 45-50 minutes, remove the meatloaf from the oven and the sauce mixture over it and spread evenly throughout.
- Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Remove meatloaf from the oven, cool it for about 15 minutes before slicing it, and drizzle with leftover sauce from baking pan.
- Serve with mash potato and green peas.
