How To Make Classic Pecan Pie?

Ingredients:

  • 340 grams Amber Corn Syrup or (1 cup)
  • 200 grams granulated sugar (1cup)
  • 150 grams eggs ( 3 whole eggs)
  • 60 grams unsalted butter (3 tablespoons) melted
  • 6 grams natural vanilla extract (1 1/2 teaspoon)
  • 250 grams chopped pecans (2 cups)
  • 50 grams pecan halves
  • 1 10 inch deep dish frozen pie crust

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl add the eggs, sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and corn syrup, and mix until well combined.
  3. Add in the pecans and ix until evenly incorporated in the mixture.
  4. Pour the Pecan pie mixture into deep dish pie crust and fill just under the rim, cover the top layer with the pecan halves.
  5. Place into the middle rack of the oven and bake for 65-75 minutes.
  6. Once the pie is baked let it cool and settle for at least 3-4 hours at ambient temperature.
