- 1 whole ripe pineapple cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons rum or brandy
- 1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
How To Make Azorean Caramelized Pineapple Recipe (Ananas Caramelizado)?
- Add the butter in a large saucepan on medium-high and melt.
- Add in the sugar, pineapple, and mix with the melted butter.
- Add the brandy or rum.
- Flambe the pineapple until it’s golden and caramelized along the sides.
