Who doesn’t love authentic Mexican steak tacos? I learned how to make traditional Tacos de Bistec, Mexican steak tacos from a close friend who is from Mexico. Before that, I would make tacos with ground beef since this is what was most common here in Canada.
Don’t get me wrong, I still love the ground beef taco… I’ll keep it close to my heart, but I have to say the tiny bits of meat in an authentic steak taco has me and my family hooked.
What I love about tacos, in general, is the endless amount of toppings you can, from pico de gallo to salsa verde, fresh cilantro, avocado, roasted vegetables, and splashes of Árbol salsa pepper that intensify the flavor of tacos. Oh..I have to mention my second reason for loving these meaty craveables and that this how super easy and fast they are to prepare. Literally, in 20 minutes these steak tacos are done.
Just a heads up, this authentic Mexican steak taco recipe will happily serve 4 taco lovers with four tacos for each.
