Ingredients For Gluten-Free Brazilian Cheese Bread Recipe (Pão de Queijo)
- 1 1/2 cups (180 grams) tapioca flour (or Cassava Flour)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (2 grams)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or any fresh cheese)
- 1 large egg ( 50grams) room temperature
- 1/4 cup olive oil ( 55 grams) or vegeatable oil
- 1/2 cup milk (120 grams)
- 1/4 cup water (60 grams)
How To Make Brazilian Cheese Bread?
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (395°) and spray a mini muffin pan with cooking spray or add mini muffin liners.
- Add the eggs, tapioca flour, milk, water, salt, olive oil and grated cheese into a blender and pulse until the batter is smooth.
- Fill each muffin tin or round silicone mild with the batter just until under the rim.
- Place into oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until ligh golden brown.
- Remove the Brazilian cheese popover bread from the oven and allow to cool for at least 15 minutes.
