Strawberry Jam Recipe (No Pectin)

Ingredients
  

  • 600 grams strawberries fresh or frozen 2 pints
  • 100 grams granulated sugar 1/2 cup
  • 15 grams lemon juice 1 tablespoon

Instructions
 

  • Add the fresh or frozen strawberries, granulated sugar and lemon juice in a medium size pot.
  • Cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and cool. If you want your strawberry jam to be smooth, mash until you reach the consistency you want.
  • Once your strawberry jam is cooled, transfer to a container or airtight jar.
  • For best results and to ensure your jam is always fresh, store in refrigerator. Will keep for 2 weeks.
  • Enjoy with your crepes, toast, pancakes or inject in muffins and cupcakes.
