  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons vegan butter or vegetable margarine
  • 1 cup raisins Sultana to Thomson

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375F. Pour the milk right into a mixing bowl and add the vinegar.
  • In a big mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  • Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to combine the butter into the flour combination—similar to making pie crust or biscuits.
  • Make a well the center within and pour within the almond milk
  • Use your fingers or a spatula and mix the dough just until the dry ingredients absorb the almond milk.
  • Add the raisins and combine.
  • Switch the dough to a floured working surface.

  • Give a cross-cut ontop of the loave.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or the golden brown in color.
  • Enjoy!
